A specialist ITS company — and the engineers behind Cytrix.
Goose TraffIQ is a specialist Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) company with over 15 years of global experience delivering high-quality engineering and project management solutions.
We're also the creators of Cytrix Micromobility, our own AI camera platform for counting, classifying and monitoring road and pathway users in real time — built by the same engineers who deliver it, install it, and support it after go-live.
Built by engineers
who'd seen the gaps first-hand
Goose TraffIQ was founded by ITS engineers who'd spent years working alongside local authorities and highways agencies, on intrusive, poorly performing systems — and knew exactly where the data gaps were and how deployments should actually be delivered.
Since then we've grown into a specialist ITS company covering the full delivery chain — consultancy, installation, connectivity, counting and classification, and ongoing maintenance — for highways authorities and infrastructure partners worldwide. Cytrix Micromobility, our own AI classification platform, is one part of that: built by the same engineers who scope, install and support every deployment.
The principles behind every deployment
Customer service
We're responsive, straightforward and easy to work with — from the first enquiry through to years of ongoing support.
Operators first
Every system is designed with the people who'll rely on it at 2am during an incident — not just in a sales demo.
Uptime is non-negotiable
Traffic systems can't have downtime. We build with fail-safe fallbacks and 24/7 monitoring as standard.
Privacy by design
Our systems are built to answer questions about road use, not to track individuals — data stays local and retention is kept to what's necessary.
Evidence over guesswork
Every recommendation we make is backed by network data, not assumptions about how traffic "should" behave.
Open, not locked-in
Standards-based integrations mean you're never stuck with us — we'd rather earn the renewal.
“We're engineers first. Every system we deliver exists because a control room operator or a road safety officer asked for it — not because it looked good on a roadmap slide.”
